He was more

How could I be so stupid

To just stand and lie.

Now I know My mistake.

I wish I could go die.

I always manage to end

The good things in my life

I call you just a friend

Which cut me like a knife.

I can’t handle not seeing your smile

Or hear your laugh.

Without you by my side

I am missing my other half.

You made me happy

When I was sad

You made it a good day

When it was bad.

You  were my other half

Now I am just a shell.

Without you in my life

I might as well be in Hell.

There are things I'll remember.

I’ll remember the good times.

Like that one day

We committed the Perfect Crime.

The way that you silently

made your way in

My shielded heart.

Congratulations. You win.

You ran slowly and carefully.

The tortious and The Hare.

Slow and steady wins the race.

Without you, I can no longer bear.
