When I grab warm clothes or blankets from a magical machine

When I see plants that appear evergreen

When I hear Abba's Dancing Queen

Any and every bad emotion leaves

Or when my math teacher gives speeches

On why he teaches

That he wants to see brown people

Go to college and climb that steep hill

That steep hill called eurocentricity

I love it more than trigonometry

And when someone compliments me

Whenever I can smell the sea

When my best friend embraces me

Whenever I see a bee

When I am in a bath and evaporating water envelops me

I am as happy as can be

Or when my brother gives me an new hairstyle

When my gym teacher doesn´t make me run the mile

And when my mind goes off into it's own isle

That, is when I smile
