Happily, ever after?

Mon, 06/19/2017 - 16:31 -- MKat

All my life I spent searching out the prince charming

The handsome, flawless, perfect man

Because that was the true happiness to the true love.

Anticipation was more as the right word

What I found was myself living in a world

Of cruelty with greedy people that come and go

Once upon a time said the narrator

Wonder what would it feel like

To dance vals in the middle of a ballroom

Or the fireworks you feel from that first kiss

If you keep looking you will find your dream

Although not everything is as it seems

As our generation keeps on going, the stories keep changing

Because nothing should last forever,

Tails are old but the century they wrote them on are even worst

However, fairy tales should be as

Elsa runs away to protect her sister, but comes back to save her,

Merida fights to change her mother from staying a bear,

Moana seals across the ocean to help her tribe.

Now tell me, did any of these women needed the help of a prince?

A fairy tale where you should accept yourself first,

Second, to do what you love, with the people that supports your dreams

And not just make you daydream

You are that independent princess if you make effort to it,

Now that is falling for a true love story.
