Hands

Hands can hold, hands protect.

Hands hold tightly; Hands connect.

Hands can love if love is true. There is nothing hands can't do.

A mother's love is a warm embarce, guiding in with folded arms.

Words whispered softly, a comforting touch as hands run gently

through hair. A father's hug enfolding, strong supporting.

Stern words of strength and courage.

A husband and wife with marraige vows bound tightly in their minds

as bodies connect, a warm embrace.A shared love is what they find.

Hands can comfort, hands can teach.  Hands help everyone within reach.

Hands give courage, hands can guide.  If we can learn to hold with hands held tight, we'll

survive together through any dark night.
