Habit

Psalm 127:2 New English Translation (NET Bible)

2 It is vain for you to rise early, come home late,

and work so hard for your food.

Yes, he provides for those whom he loves even when they sleep.

Common reason out of the door

The night is quickly falling

Stay awake and wait for more

Of what later appears appalling

What is wrong with the flesh?

Why can it so sudden capture?

You know my spirit can attest

The breakdown of will in failure

Huffed and puffed the body sighs

It has to keep up with all my whims

Bloated and filled without any light

I need to pass some gas from within

Workout – workout the only way

But not this early in the morning

Now is the time to write and pay

For the silliness in my state of mourning

Tomorrow will be different

Today has not even started

What will be the hindrance?

What needs to be discarded?
