Guilt a motivation ...

Guilt a motivation

Leviticus 16:8-10

Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for the Lord and the other lot for the scapegoat.  9 And Aaron shall bring the goat on which the Lord’s lot fell, and offer it as a sin offering.  10 But the goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make atonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness.

Psalm 139: 8 “When I make my bed in hell, You are there”.

It is not someone else

who makes my bed look tidy?

It is not someone else

who chooses where I sleep?

It is not someone else

who motivates my lying?

It is not someone else

who’s making me a creep?

It is not someone else

who makes stupid choices?

It is not someone else

who directs my will?

It is not someone else

who muffles truth with poison?

It is not someone else

who swallows bitter pills?

I can be someone else

if for that I hunger.

I can be someone else

if I give my life away.

I can be someone else

one who will be stronger.

I can be someone else

if I accept Christ to-day.
