Growth

Choose to grow within the treacheous weather.

Choose to bloom throughout the rain and grab a sweater.

I cannot lie, it won't be easy.

But choose to be the purple flower, not the puny seedling.

Don't be the young, gorgeous girl with nothing of her own.

Be the strong, independent woman who is hard as stone.

Be that bold, beautiful woman!

Take these words as a sign, see this beautiful omen.

Become a woman who knows her worth and never settles for less.

Don't let anyone tell you, "You belong in a dress."

Wear the pants, for you were strong since birth.

Remember who you are, it's okay to be selfish and put yourself first.

Keep changing and understand that it'll take time.

And after your growth understand that you will be fine.

Throughout your life please don't ever, ever lose hope.

For even with a noose around your neck, let it be a loose rope.
