The darkness you cast upon me should not be an excuse because you say you love me.
My body is not an object you are entitled to because you say you love me.
I do not have to be tied around your leash because you say you love me.
And I won't.
You see when I say I love you it is not just three words that come out of my mouth. No.
When I say I love you I love every inch of your body. Fat, skinny, pale, dark are meaningless words.
Because when I say I love you, it is with no judgement.
When I say I love you, I do not say it as an excuse, like you do.
Shame on you for taking me for granted. No longer will you hear those words come out of my mouth. And I'll be damned if you say them to me.
I made that mistake once, twice, and three times was not the charm.
I have healed, grown, and moved on.
The next time I hear I love you, it will come from someone who loves me for me.
