Growing, A terrifying feeling

Gone are my twig legs, and flat chest

Now I have a butt and breast ……

Very little but still noticeable

No more ballies and barrette, just braid outs and natural hair stress

No more mommy holding my hand through the day

Now I make the hard decisions

No more K-12

Now I chose The next path

I hope it goes well

No more free schooling,

No more free lunch,

No more free transportation,

And no more free stuff

No more wasteful spending

Now I buckle down, I have tuition, housing, and supplies

To think about.

Gone are summer camps

And catching fireflies at night

Now, these hot long days are filled with working minimum wage,

And making sure customers are alright.

Now that my path is chosen

With no more sitting dreaming about the world

Now I have to go discover the world
