Growing Pains

I’m not that little girl anymore
Frame by frame
Taller, thicker
Nobody taught me quicker, than
You.
That I need thick skin

Love is not real.

How else could you leave after the way you made me feel?

Souls intertwine
Drift apart
Innocent heart, rock hard
I’m not that little girl anymore.
