Grey Shoes

I can barely look at you,

I can hardly talk to you,

So I look at my shoes,

And listen in silence.

But I am dying inside,

I want to tell you

But the words won’t come

And I am stuck

Watching you,

Just wishing you feel the same,

Hoping you can love me,

Like I try to do for you,

It’s hard to risk your heart,

I’m looking for the right moment,

But I hope I am not waiting

Waiting for a moment that’s not coming,

Waiting for you to move on,

I want to tell you,

How beautiful you are,

How you put a smile on my face,

I want to risk my heart for you,

But I sit there,

And look at my shoes.
