The history of color
Is the history of time.
It has existed even when
Life had been blind.
But like all history,
Color experienced great turmoil,
Like a great fire
Burning and consuming oil.
Thus, there was a time
When color was consumed by false fear.
White feared and oppressed Black,
And Black shed a tear.
But Love then consumed Hate.
Love for one another caused
Freedom to be Black's fate.
Thus, came the time when
White and Black came together
- To form the color Grey.
