Gravity

Location

I never anticipated resisting the power of gravity

Until you came along and swept me off my feet

And I sit in wonder trying to outline in my mind

How you do these things to me,

How I'm still floating beside the clouds,

Even though I'm falling for you simultaneously

How I set off higher in the sky each day when I simply hear your voice,

Elevating until I reach the furthest stars

How you embrace me without touch and hold me captive

Without cuffs

Being imprisoned by you can never be an inconvenience

When your heart is the utmost warmest chamber I've ever encountered

And given that you have the key to my heart,

I don't mind that I can't confine you the same;

I just wish that I can amaze you the ways and to the extent

That you continue to amaze me

So we can equally suspend amongst the stars

While I lay in your arms,

Reflecting once more how I never want to escape them,

How I never want my feet to meet the ground again

I never anticipaed resisting the power of gravity

Until you came along and swept me off my feet
