gravity

we
revolved
around each other
the gravity
increasing
on a near daily basis
drawing ever closer
whenever
we were
in
the same room
it was like magnets
we were
our very own
magnetic field
it reminds me
of
Newton's
universal law of gravitation
every object
attracts
every object
and
the strength
depends
on size and proximity
we are small
but our closeness
allowed
us
to feel
the gravity
of what we shared
of course
like all good things
it had to
end
suddenly
even though I knew
it would
but there will always be next summer,
