Gazing out,

Into the deep rolling waves.

As they roll and roll,

Ever turning.

On and on.

The cold breeze sways the palms on the shore.

Slowly they shake in the wind.

Leaves rattle in protest.

Sand whips up like a storm.

Nothing can stop the majesty that had been found.

The serene grace of the land.

The pain filled eyes glance back to the sea.

The final call.

The last awakening.

Slowly the ground dips.

Eyes fill with the salty sea.

Chest tightens in the airless vice.

The eyes open for the final time.

Drifting deeper and deeper,

Into the dark.

The cold takes over from inside.

Tears flow away but,

Peace is found.

Never to be taken away.

Forever more.
