Good Procrastination

Procrastination can be such a beautiful thing.

It takes form in numerous ways,

Like listening to music or playing games.

Focused on fun and running astray,

From the things that are important day to day.

Getting away isn't an easy task in the slightest,

It proves to be difficult for even the brightest.

What prides you? What makes you grateful?

What motivates you to turn the tables?

For me it's a chip in the armor of said beauty,

Manifest procrastination to fuel your duties.

Listen to music— like truly listen;

Let the lyrics be your motivation.

Play your game, but don't stop thinking;

Shape your ideas around what your playing.

So often we label things as just good or bad,

We see one-dimensionally and cease to understand—

That by using what others call a weakness,

We can acquire greatness.
