Good Bye

Is it really that hard to respect that I have my limits too?

I do not choose to live my life to please a man like you.

Feel free to continue to shout and yell, I think I’ll take my leave.

You belittle and you criticize so I really doubt you’ll grieve.

I know I’ve sat through this before but now something has changed

I no longer believe that I have anything to gain.

Good bye, good luck, go live your life. Please do so without me.

I can do just fine without you here, just you wait and see.

I’ve packed my bags, they’re in the car. It’s finally time to go.

I may have wasted years with you but now I slam that door.
