God supplies

2 Corinthians 12:9

But He said to me, “My grace is enough for you,

for My power is made perfect in weakness.

” So then, I will boast most gladly about my weakness,

so that the power of Christ may reside in me.

God supplies all of our needs

As throughout the ages He smiles

Upon His own, but not their greed

Always surprising in style

Over and over always the same

As the flesh battles the spirit

Pushing and shoving emotions to shame

In design through own making in merit

Fragrance all gone as flesh seems the victor

And winding up bathing in sweat

Divided in parts like a king without scepter

Totally hung up in a self-made net
