The God I Serve

My God is a blessing to me
So much joy people can not perceive
Why I can go through my storms
Feeling such at ease
Because the God I serve
Has that much love for me
Don't have to look over my shoulder
No weapon formed against me
Shall ever prosper
Because the God I serve
Forever watches
Even though the dawn
Has yet to come
I still have no desire to even run
Because this race
Is not given to the swift
But to who can endure
To the very end
So I put on the full armor of God
Ready for war at any time
Because the devils always lurking
Since he knows
He has but a short time
To gather as many souls
As he possibly can
Hopefully you're not one of them
Temptation will always come
But my battle is already won
