Gluten Free

A simple stroll turns into something of an adventure,

For not one but two.

Company of one another,

To keep the sanity in place and to get over a dietary restriction set in place.

In the wake of unsettled hunger and the wonders of curiosity,

The bellies of these two must no longer be empty.

Along their journey,

The lack of nutrition settles in to cause a wake of imagination.

Just as a deserts' heat results in unrealistic visions,

Not having food to eat get in the way of clear thinking.

At last,

A house of baked goods meets the youngsters -

But none of which options are gluten free.

The witch who owns this establishments steps out to meet the children,

But the show of disappointment on their faces unsettles this very witch.

Suprised by the unexpected result,

The witch gives into the practice of gluten-free baking -

From then on,

The house became known as the "Gluten-Free Witch",

And she controlled the market economy,

Through a newly discovered monopoly.

Hansel & Gretel were not only no longer hungry,

They now lived the vision of children hipsters in woods -

A trend that would be followed by the future fools.
