Glory

She drifts into the dark,

Dreams like errant stars.

The void at her center pulls,

Straining to conquer undiscovered planets.

Her universe slowly shrinking,

She lets gravity pull her dreams down.

Burning through the atmosphere,

Snuffed out by their own weight,

Sputtering out in smoldering ashes.

The tragedy of a fallen star.
