The Girl Who Lives In The Mirror

I once met this girl,
She was always boucing along happily,
Playing without a care in the world,
She had friends and extremely great family,

I sit back and think,
What am I missing that she had?
Then I feel my heart sink.
I'm not nice and I'm always sad.

I make myself be alone,
I have no real friends,
My family is all gone,
And i've ran off the deep end.

I smear the black powder onto my lids,
I stare into the mirror wide eyed.
I smile really big,
Hoping I don't look like I just cried.

I look just like her,
I noticed this awhile ago,
Except my eyes are darker,
And they are missing that pure glow.
