The Girl In The Corner
The girl in the corner
Crying her eyes out
People around her
No one hears her shout
She used love and care
She used to be kind and nice
She used to have people there
Her life used to be paradise
Now her life is empty
The part that’s missing she doesn’t know
Now she wears that mask easily
Her feelings never show
She wants someone to listen
Someone to understand
But when she opens up,
Nobody lends a hand
Trying to stand tall
She waits till the day ends
Only then, she lets those tears fall
Those tears her best friends
This poem is about:
Me
My family
My community
My country
Our world
