Wrong or right.
Good or bad.
You teach me there is no other way.
There are no shades of gray.
We are the smart ones or we are not.
We are the gifted ones or we are not.
You look out at the classroom and you are blinded.
You see those that fit into the perfect square.
You ignore those that don't
Because we don't fit.
If we can cut away our excess
If we can't hide away our creativity
And squeeze our way into your box
Then we are wrong or troubled.
We aren't the smart ones, nor the gifted ones.
We are circles in squares,
And we are not seen.
