A Ghost

My world goes on though you were so shallow,

with your ignorance you brought much despair,

you emptied my heart making it hallow,

hurting as I breathe in all the cold air.

My sunshine is covered with a dark cloud,

my eyes flood with every single small tear,

what happened I say as I think out loud,

all of the pain of you not being near.

Vanishes when I remember the day,

a new beginning started in my life,

or even a great blessing I could say,

making me smile and taking my strife.

Without you she wouldn't have come along,

nor would I be independent or strong.
