Genisis

Sun, 10/10/2021 - 20:36 -- ajn

Banished from the land of good,

Required to sit and lengthily toil,

Sentenced to pain and chopping wood,

All the while they plough the soil.

The crosshatched grass of Eden's land,

Was stolen from their very hand,

The single bite of the fruit forbidden,

Kept that sacred land forever hidden.

And now we sit and suffer here,

For the deeds were so selfishly done,

And the garden shall no longer reappear.
