The Game Called Love

Society, I don’t understand your games.

There are rules you claim,

To act that way,

To speak this way,

To appear another way,

And it is a game you created called Pretend.

In your game, for some miracle, all of humanity agreed on the rules.

There are multiple copies of distorted masks waiting to be claimed

And everyone races to have one to wear on his or her pure faces.

If you do not fight to grab the mask, you have lost their game.

You will be shunned and mocked for being out of the crowd.

Well society, I despise this chaotic game of yours.

I will not speak in rage to fight back.

Instead, I will roll this dice in a game I call

Love.

As all dices have their unique six sides and

Each number tells a different story in this game.

One, the single hidden passion a person adores and shares to the world without being afraid of being judge upon for its unpopularity.

Two, the pair of best friends who can shine their colors together and unlocks that uplifting spirit to others around them.

Three, the trio of the heart, soul, and mind that can overcome the dark shadows that hunts the insecurities.

Four, the luck like finding a four-leaf clover to be able to understand a their own imperfections and live happily.

Five, the strong pack of small furry warriors to remind a person their own strength and powers they contain in them.

Six, the semester part of life filled with hope to grow more as a person.

When I roll the dice, I am living a life without the game of Pretend.

I am playing my own game and not someone else’s.

There is no reason for anyone to chase after

An object that controls your minds to please people you don’t know.

The person I am is showing love to everyone,

Cheering for their unique personalities,

By using the lessons of self-appreciation from dice.
