Future position

Romans 8:10

10 But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin,

but the Spirit is your life because of righteousness.

Imprints of flesh’s satisfaction on toilet paper used

Is it in comprehension where facts are ground to dust?

Some folk call it candy and some smile at the abuse

Where colors seem to fade away into the color rust

To some all is a blessing to some a never-ending curse

Is it in the perception that seldom is rehearsed?

Is it hidden in the future where no need is yet to nurse?

Will all things be acceptable after the departure in a hearse?

Contentment with whatever befalls is against our nature

Satisfaction is not Holiness and to be at peace not oft surety

Even that is incomplete for sure in the limelight of departure

that all things are acceptable as God demands just purity

What is missing maybe Godliness, the provision that Jesus brings

That part we cannot muster and that’s foreign to our sins

It is the part that’s applied to us as through The Blood it surely wins

our oneness with the Father Who will raise us to be kings
