Futility 2

Romans 6:16  New English Translation

16 Do you not know that if you present yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or obedience resulting in righteousness?

Futility 2

A Christian, in his ignorance, may be deceived by the powers of darkness

But how long that lasts depends on his relationship with God

God will not let you go too far, or He will start softly calling

Surely His sheep know His voice and will return to the flock.

Study yourself approved is a simple commandment.

Once we’re in our Christian walk; we cannot ignore

Ignorance is not bliss as stated in this world

For in the spiritual realm, it can bite you to the core

Cause and effect brings the beginning of another cause

Like ignorance to perception and then passivity

Followed by entrenchment towards the final condition

Something that started so simple towards a defeated personality

Relieved of responsibility of having to make decisions

To rather be driven now by circumstance and more

A condition of inertia that's now quickly developing

When small matters to decide become a mighty chore

Then you start looking for help, not knowing how to cope

Daily living becomes a burden, and even listening is hard

Considering any task makes one feel impotent

And even light responsibility is refused in every part.

Waiting for assistance from the environment or man

As in the middle of labor, all will suddenly stop

So the job is left unfinished to join the other jobs

Which were left in the same to start another job
