Proverbs 10:3 New English Translation (NET Bible)

3 The Lord satisfies the appetite of the righteous,

but he thwarts the craving of the wicked.

Landscape changes as we travel but why do most want to stand still?

Why are we soaking up the familiar and develop habits to fit this cause?

We become judgmental about the movers as we then struggle to go uphill

As we stay in a house of comfort feeding self with handouts from Santa-Claus

Standing in our fence-secured posture judging and dissecting the far distance

Searching at night the starry sky for something special that is least expected

“Look at me”, the endless cry, I need to be delivered from this existence

But we don’t search for the nearest gate to be counted with the pre-selected

Where does hunger originate for forms of righteousness?

Who can change the desire to be delivered from the old?

Where does it originate? Perhaps in the state of onlyness?

But who will point this out my son as we are oft foretold?
