Frost

     v

O Orb in the sky, break through

The ice in my body.

Melt the frost in my heart,

The freezing daggers of my eyes.

My cold-shoulder cannot warm a smile,

Nor entice embrace.

Relax me, so stiffened by  my surroundings

Like a flower stuck in growth,

Frozen in time

Longing for release from her wintry prison.

Who sees my soul? Who knows that I am not this way?

Who but You, my Sun

My Orb in the sky.
