Freedom ... what if I'm the miser?

Proverbs 23:6-7

Do not eat the bread of a miser
Nor desire his delicacies;
7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
“Eat and drink!” he says to you,
But his heart is not with you.

Freedom ... what if I'm the miser?

A slave to one’s own mind ... or what needs to be accomplished

a call to duty through a voice ... but what if it is your own?

Would it be appropriate to search ... for the voice’s origination

or would it be procrastination ... if one is schedule prone?

Thinking clear but later ... it may turn vague without notice?

Can one be misled this way ... and be totally blind to it?

Can goals be accomplished ... in one’s own imagination

and cloud realistic issues ... to get the best of this?

Is blindness mostly chosen ... by overriding desires

and ignoring intuition ... just to rely on what one sees?

Living by faith is noticed then ... by what is accomplished

and leaning on the master ... also becomes a deed.

The size never mattered ... look at the mustard seed

still looking at quantity and much ...  we consider success.

We really have come far ... on our way back to degradation

and are now convinced ... that life is a continuous test.

Nowhere in this world ... is anything worth having

unless it is founded on love ... a gift from God above.

Tell that to the guys on Wallstreet or even at times to self

as we simply state that happiness ... is not in fortunes lost.
