Freedom

This kinda bread is kinda sweet, kinda bitter, kinda salty
kinda smelly, kinda frightening but kinda loving
And now let me tell you a true story about me
That you will never have the chance to see
I have been stranded on an island
I stood on the highlands, not nervous but frightened of the things that may happen
All things I cherish have gone and perish
As I slept on the nights, tears flowed from my eyes
I looked up at the sky, at the millions stars
as they cleaned my scars my life started to revive
I stood up and wiped my tears
My heart became as strong as a gladiator spear
I took off running, as a speed of lightning
I felt the joy of life and the freedom of a butterfly
All the pain that my life has experienced
Have been replaced by courage and love
I leaped with joy
……….. With courage
…………with love
…………with freedom
Again tears flowed from my eyes, but this time
it wasn’t from fear but freedom from fear it self
