Freedom

Mon, 03/28/2016 - 11:02 -- breese

As I look at everyone's portrayal of what I am destined to be… an angry Black women is what I am expected to be

All I need is freedom

To show that I am not angry but instead I am misunderstood in white America

All I need is freedom

To show that I am more than just my kinky hair, the color of my dark skin, my thick lips and the way I speak ebonics

All I need is freedom

To show that despite how beautiful my kinks are, the fulness of my lips, my glorious melanin and how ghetto I speak that I am beautiful because of these unique attributes

All I need is freedom
