I wish that I would've paid more attention,

and noticed the look in your eyes,

that look that seemed like you were searching,

for something that wasn't there.

I wish you would've came to me,

although I feel it is all my fault,

that I overlooked all of the signs,

of you begging for help.

But now there is nothing I can do,

except remember all of the good times,

and hope that God is taking care of you,

to free you from all of the pain.

Your family really misses you,

as do I,

and know that we won't remember you for what you did,

but for who you were.

The entire world should know,

that if you see pain in someone's eyes,

take action and don't overlook it,

and you might save someone's life.
