In the Frail Arms of Posseidon

The waves are coming

to take me away

i cannot fathom

what its like if i stay

the people of the sand

rise to take me back home

return to your dreams

back to the land of soot and stone

trapped in the depths of the sea

anchors hold me down

i can no longer breathe

and i will soon drown

i cannot be saved

by the people of the sand

for if they come

my lungs will collapse

maybe ill wash upon the beach

this could be a dream

but life of death will bring clarity

to all i see it seems

the time of judgement has come

to sweep me away

no matter what happens

i will leave this place

i didn't see a light

that very night i died

just the dark of the sea

opening its arms to welcome me
