Fragility

Fragility is an infant

Innocent and defenseless

Crying, wanting, dependent

Beautiful, yet a mess

Fragility is a broken heart

Poked and prodded by many

Crushed and torn apart

Praying for love from any

Fragility does not make us weak

It's a definition of human nature

Our breaking point, our peak

Like the Titanic, it's our glacier

Life itself is fragile

Death comes so easily

We push against the pull

Until finally we are free
