The fountain of Life

The fountain of Life…

Job 28:20-21

God Alone Has Wisdom

20 “But wisdom—where does it come from?

Where is the place of understanding?

21 For it has been hidden from

the eyes of every living creature,

and from the birds of the sky, it has been concealed.

If we are redeemed and seated in Heavenly places

in Christ Jesus, close to God ...  will we get a clue?

Whatever resides on earth is far from understanding

in the call and purpose of our lives and what we have to do.

We are surely part of the worldly wise and can’t accept that call.

Our intelligence will go about ... finding a reason to justify self.

Starting out on the wrong foot ... we’ll travel around in circles

and when we get to where started ... we think we discovered the Well.

We learn from folks just like us ... as they are reaching beyond their scope.

They consider themselves sufficient ... in their hunger for wanting to know.

They make sense out of their own confusion ... that overflows in their minds

and thoughtfully appear wise in ... self-constructed thoughts of their kind.
