Foster Parents

March 15, 2019 - The day that changed my life.

Who knew that all it took was a loving husband and wife.

You happily accepted me with all my flaws and broken parts.

I'm just glad you saved me before I started breaking hearts.

A broken soul, hurting myself to bandage the emotional pain with a physical one.

Who knows how long before I would've decided I was done.

I haven't touched my scarred skin in almost a year.

The last time I barely even shed a tear.

You helped me find my worth, two angels sent down to earth.
