Forgive me for I have sinned

Forgive me father for I have sinned

America says my color is my transgression

Yet they say our society moves with constant progression

“We aren’t as bad as it was before”

But people still stare when I walk through the door

I can say f**k the police all I want

But when I say black lives matter it causes contention

Why are my rights are never mentioned….

Why is not survival of the fittest but survival of the whitest?

Forgive me father for I have sinned
