Forevermore

And when the leaves have held their last
And winter settles like snow
There it will lie, long forgotten
Forevermore
Of bittersweet January
And sorrowful June
Words unspoken
Forevermore
What once I held
And you let go
Parting what's left
Forevermore
Faded must be
And faded you must go
I will drift on
Forevermore
And though the rain
And the sorrow fresh
Hope remains
Forevermore
Still there is way
Still there is heart
Still are the leaves
Forevermore
