Forever Irrelevant

Thu, 05/04/2017 - 18:43 -- bNh015

Black, white and blue don’t mix.

Never did. Never will.

The trust. The security. The equality.

Gone.

Trayvon, Alton, Sandra.

Gone.

Why are disgrace and enemies disguised in black?

Black complexion, black culture, black history all show

Exquisiteness, identity and importance.

America, known as the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Yet slaves weren’t free for centuries, the brave got slaughtered

And African-Americans still aren’t free.

From racism, from police brutality, from racial profiling, from murder.

Why does white feel so threatened and superior in the presence of black?

Why are they majority when half is “minority”?

The torture, pain, suffering, dehumanization, hatred.

When will it all end?

When will African-Americans stop being irrelevant?

Why are we irrelevant?
