To Fly

There's a total of a million and one reasons as to why I don't want to learn how to jump and to fly. The clouds would be closer until I begin to spin and fall all over. I'm scared of hitting the ground. Fallen. And never found. Lost forever until the day someone like you came to show me the way. Too many bright street lights never really knowing which road is right or if I'm all wrong, making mistakes all along. But now with your hand in mine, we can forget the signs and you'll teach me how to fly. With the sun as our witness, we had the clouds beneath us. We danced and laughed as our hearts soared. 'Til the sun shone no more. The moon came out with all the starts about her. Camped under a beautiful oasis, shooting stars filling up the empty spaces. Oh, but only then, would I want to fly.
