Flutter of Faith

A quest lies dormant before you,

granting you endurance for the breath of your conscious soul.
To fill a sleepy vessel, to grow and stretch as you do.
                                 Yet, there is a twist:
Perhaps you may stumble here or there..
Perhaps you'll waken up...or Perhaps you won't care to remember
this task I've lied before you,
                                      because you see..
You won't recollect my face, this life, this plan we've made:
You'll merely awake as a tiny human being.
You'll grow to learn the ways of the ones around you.
They will lead you off the path to which you and I have agreed to.
Yet, my sweet breath of fresh air, my sweet and brave spirit:
I shall not leave no lights in the midst of darkness, 'for I've placed a flutter of faith                              within your core that just WILL NOT go away.
So Perhaps,
Our promise will begin to clear as you wash all old habits and fear away.
