The Flawless and the Fakers

You don't know the rest of us because based on our superficial knowledge

You cannot be one of us. Your latin and your thesaurus mindset only last so long

Before they're blown off by something stronger, bleeding off the fury that the bottle burn

And the smoke must have left it in. The fire drink has been here too long and

The ashes are in the air and

Nobody can be safe here when

Everybody's ready to fight and

Everyone thinks that they can't lose

And there's no one who doesn't obey

Because there are better ways

To have a day lost and a

Chance gone so we listen to the rules that they no longer live by.

The flawless and the fakers are completely different races

As the time does pass, you'll see... The flawless slowly dying

By the poison they survive on and the fakers just trying to escape it all...

And the flawless are the crazy ones outside the school, it's all in fun and smoke

So wouldn't it be a surprise if a faker had to say things like bloodlust

And wouldn't it be nice if it was somebody uncertain like me

Who's just caught in between and

Fending off a silent war

That might not have existed if

She hadn't lifted the words out

And now the war persists and sometimes

The hard things shut down and

I need to remember how to talk

Before I end up walking away

On my own accord, so there's nobody else to blame

On the way home

When the faces glow.
