Flawless
Every morning I wake up to this face
The face of my father
The face of my mother
It's my face, not that of another
I have my father's eyes
I have my mothers cheeks
I have the manly chin
and the widow's peak
My teeth may be crooked
But they are white without a dentist
My muscles may not be toned
But I can walk and hug without assistance
I may have my father's giant head
I have my mother's giant thighs
I have my father's stubby fingers
With my mother's tiny shoe size
What many think are faults
I see as part of me
Without them, I'd be someone else
Without them, they wouldn't be my family
I am flawless because I am me
I am flawless because I am them
Everyone is flawless just like me
Everyone is flawless just like them
