Elemental table’s atoms are not fables

For they trend in many ways, they have stole

Atomic radius, to higher

By going down and left desk’s soul

But electron affinity,

Ionic energy, and

Electronegativity will

All rise to the top and right!

All those different atoms have patterned trends

That can and will be seen without lens

Five Trends Rising diagonally on

Until their chemical might will become gone.

The electron shielding is up

And while the fifth trend gets tough

It goes up when down

On that periodic table!

But! It stays constant across!

But why?! NUCLEUS!!!

Charge! That caused the real trend!

Now five have brought the end!
