The Fisherman

The fisherman lies

In his boat

Waiting restlessly for

A fish to catch

The fish, hungry

For a delicious worm

Notices a worm

But fails to notice the hook

The fish is hoisted

Up in the air,

Hook in its nose

As it is taken captive by

Oxygen

The fisherman smiles

Proudly, excited for

His squirming fish

To be cooked in the

Fire.

But as he watches

The fish lose its breath,

A Shark eats a hole

Into his boat

And the boat sinks,

And the fisherman,

Not knowing how to

Swim, drowns as the fish

Swims away.
