Finding The Essence of A Woman (I)
Finding the essence of a woman.
Collect a bouquet of roses.
Set them in a vase...
on a table with a wall of background .
Wait .
Wait until the distance from Eden transforms the makeup
to one readily absorbed by the environment.
Wait for the breakdown,
the translation of petal color as the roses appear to freeze.
Watch them stiffen into poses,
each a distinctive snapshot of their
stems’ perception of the light source.
Watch the crowns deepen,
shift almost inwards
and still seem to face up and out.
There.
It’s almost poetic.
There you will find the essence of a woman;
there, amongst roses.
It’s all-most poetic.
