Figure it out ... Really?

John 9:39       New English Translation

39 Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that those who do not see may gain their sight, and the ones who see may become blind.”

Figure it out … really?

What is good and what is bad, is that really a question?

Nothing is bad of itself is that seems well understood?

It ain’t bad and it ain’t good brought some to the foreground

Yes, life is like a wave, going up and down mostly for our good

Stability on a moving ship in hanging on to the mast

Hoping your hands as your feet slide to and fro

The maker of the ship and the captain on board

Are not too important as the One Who makes the water flow

Rock of Ages, what a place, to stand on Him secured

As the storms are soaring and time loses its call

What about the souls of the ones who are in the water?

They crash into the rocky shore, will they see the Rock at all?

Aren’t we supposed to be the light when we stand on the Rock?

Aren’t we to show the way as dangers grow and move?

Upon every one who’s drowning as we stand untouched

For we have the deep assurance and that “our” Rock will prove
